Studies with Animal Biosa Plus in pig production

Fattening pigs

In 155 fattening pigs, the Animal Biosa Plus group reached a higher lean-meat percentage (57.9% vs. 55.8%) and better feed conversion (2.86 vs. 3.04 kg/kg), equivalent to 15–16 kg less feed per pig, with a 1.5% higher carcass weight.

Sows and piglets

Chronic pleurisy reduced from 35% to 3% (−91%), piglet daily gain +18% (332 → 393 g), non-productive days per litter −38%, and veterinary costs cut in half.
